We warmly welcome you to the Government Elementary Teacher Education Institution (E.T.E.I.), Langaleswar, Balasore, functioning under the Directorate of Teacher Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training (TE and SCERT), Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Our institute is dedicated to the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha, with the mission to foster excellence in teacher education. At E.T.E.I. Langaleswar, we are committed to nurturing skilled and passionate future teachers who can contribute to the holistic development of children and uphold the values of quality education. Our curriculum focuses on both theoretical understanding and practical teaching skills, emphasizing innovative pedagogical practices envisaged in NEP-2020. We aim to shape would be teachers who are responsive to the changing dynamics of the educational landscape and are equipped to inspire future generations. Our experienced faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, facilities for all round development of the student and student-centered approach ensure a supportive and dynamic learning environment. We strive to empower our student teachers with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become impactful as well as skilful teachers in the field of school education. The vision of Government Elementary Teacher Education Institution, Langaleswar, Balasore, Odisha, is to develop competent, committed, and compassionate elementary teachers who are equipped with 21st-century skills. Mission
- Quality Teacher Education: To provide high-quality teacher education programs that are aligned with NEP-2020, focusing on experiential learning, pedagogical innovation, and multidisciplinary approaches to ensure teachers are well-prepared to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Child-Centric Pedagogy: To promote child-centric, activity-based teaching-learning methods as advocated by NCF-2005 and NCFSE -2023, ensuring the holistic development of young learners and fostering a love for lifelong learning among students.
- Foundational Literacy and Numeracy: To support the goals of NIPUN Bharat by training teachers to implement effective strategies for achieving foundational literacy and numeracy for all children by Grade 3, emphasizing joyful, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.
